Audience members were delighted by the staged reading of James Baldwin’s The Amen Corner on Monday, a part of the national theater endeavor, Project1Voice. They were engrossed in the story, captivated by the characters and thrilled by the music, performed by the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre choir directed by Yvonne Cobbs.
